#10 Tenderloin Memorial
So this is what a makeshift Tenderloin memorial looks like. Caught this under a tree on Eddy Street on the way to the Fillmore Jazz Fest. There were even more empty bottles of spirits and beer lying all around the tree. I’m assuming a homie was downed here.
Also, note to self: never whip out a camera or iPhone in the TL no matter how bright of day it is or how safe it seems at the moment. One of my college photography instructors once told us that “if you’re not taking a risk, your photos are going to be boring”, but what I experienced today was just friggin’ scary and not worth it.
